FoodReg Malaysia Sdn Bhd was recently set up as a subsidiary of FoodReg AG of Switzerland and has MSC Status.

The company has ambitious plans to make a major difference to the use of IT within the agrifood industry of Malaysia and the surrounding region and has already started a highly strategic Government-sponsored project.

The company develops and commercialises an innovative and powerful software and services solution which delivers improved food safety, higher quality control and greater business efficiency.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate the technical team
• Communicate actively with all relevant parties
• Liaise with teams in other countries
• Participate in strategic business decision-making
• Write functional and technical specifications
• Design and architect solutions
• Review programming code
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in any field.
• Required skill(s): java, project management, communication.
• Required language(s): English.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Cyberjaya.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
• Preferably managers specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
• Full-Time positions available.

Directing technical projects at FoodReg is a challenging and very exciting job. It not only involves managing an team of hardcore Java developers, but also a lot of coordination and communication. With the help of the senior developers in your team you will be responsible for translating vision into hard technology and practical products.

On your job you will need a lot of knowledge of the Java world, excellent language skills in English, an analytical mind and very good communication skills. A relevant university degree will be appreciated and previous experience in managing engineering staff is expected.
