FoodReg Malaysia Sdn Bhd was recently set up as a subsidiary of FoodReg AG of Switzerland and has MSC Status.

The company has ambitious plans to make a major difference to the use of IT within the agrifood industry of Malaysia and the surrounding region and has already started a highly strategic Government-sponsored project.

The company develops and commercialises an innovative and powerful software and services solution which delivers improved food safety, higher quality control and greater business efficiency.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for a person with exceptional system architecture and programming skills, fast, productive and able to work without close direction. Capable of leading software projects from client requirements to implementation. Expertise in XML and Java technologies, practical knowledge of OO design using UML, as well as proven project experience is a must. The work involves use of the latest software technologies, often solving problems where there is no obvious solution. Original "out-of-the-box" thinking would be appreciated. Excellent English knowledge as well as good communication and presentation skills are required.

Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in any field.
• Preferred skill(s): Object-oriented design using UML, Java, XML.
• Required language(s): English.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Kuala Lumpur.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
• Preferably senior executives specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
• Full-Time positions available.
